Discussion Takeaways

  • Sunday dinners are a great way to relieve others from the burden of preparing good food.
  • Most of the time, decisions about food are made by people who don’t fully understand the struggles of others.

  • Food makes a difference in your body. You are what you eat, and being limited by what you can afford can be mentally challenging.
  • Food can be empowering if people understand where they are and how to meet their needs.
  • Food dignity means creating spaces where people can show up authentically and be nourished.
